Acceptance of US Currency

Due to local regulations, the acceptance of US Dollars in cash is controlled when in Mexico. The maximum amount of US currency accepted or exchanged on property is $1,500 USD per month, per room reservation. Payments with credit/debit cards or in Mexican pesos are widely accepted.
